Thomas Laliberty is president of Land Warfare & Air Defense at Raytheon Missiles & Defense, a business of Raytheon Technologies. Laliberty leads a team that provides the U.S. Army, U.S. Marine Corps and dozens of international customers with integrated air and missile defense, counter UAS, and proven precision long-range and combat weapon capabilities.

Prior to the merger between Raytheon Company and United Technologies Corporation in 2020, Laliberty served as vice president of Integrated Air and Missile Defense at Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems where he was responsible for delivering air and missile defense capabilities to 25 countries. Previously, he was vice president of Business Development and Strategy, for Integrated Defense Systems. In this role, he was responsible for developing business growth strategies, partnering to shape markets, conducting business intelligence and customer trend analysis and executing strategic initiatives.

He joined the company in 1987 as a software engineer and developed a wide range of computer-aided design and computer integrated manufacturing solutions in support of the defense electronics businesses. Throughout this tenure, he has held a number of leadership roles including vice president of Missile Defense Programs and director of Integrated Combat Systems.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a master’s degree in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
