Sean P. Moylan is the Vice President and General Counsel for Raytheon Missiles & Defense headquartered in Tucson, Arizona. He oversees all legal, contract and compliance matters pertaining to the 30,000-employee business that specializes in air and missile defense systems, precision weapons, radars, command and control systems and advanced defense technologies.
Moylan has over twenty years of legal leadership experience with Raytheon Technologies Corporation. Most recently he served as the Corporate Vice President, Transactions & Regulatory Affairs, where he oversaw the legal work for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spins and strategic investments and antitrust counseling and compliance. He has held leadership positions in the legal departments of other Raytheon Technologies companies including Pratt & Whitney and Collins Aerospace, as well as former Raytheon Technologies companies, Carrier and UTC Fire & Security. Moylan also served as the Executive Assistant to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining RTX, he was Counsel to the United States Senate Judiciary Committee under then Chairman Joseph R. Biden (D-DE) and an Associate in the Washington, DC office of Mayer, Brown & Platt.
Moylan holds a bachelor’s degree in political science, a master’s degree in history, and a juris doctor degree from Duke University.
