Scott Allison

Vice President, Engineering

Scott Allison is the vice president of Engineering for Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD), a business of Raytheon Technologies. He manages all engineering activities pertaining to the design and integration of air and missile defense systems, precision weapons, radars, command and control systems and advanced defense technologies.

Most recently, Allison served as the Integrated Product team lead for RMD’s Engineering organization. Previously, he was director of the Systems Architecture, Design and Integration Directorate (SADID) within Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems business, prior to Raytheon’s merger with United Technologies Corporation in 2020.

Other roles have included Engineering director for the Seapower mission area, deputy director for SADID, department manager of Ship and Torpedo Electronics and the DDG 1000 Acoustic Sensor Suite Element Sonar Integrated Product team leader.

Outside of Raytheon Technologies, Allison was a senior software engineer at Lockheed Martin, supporting an advanced ground vehicle countermeasure program, and a software sustaining manager for Nortel Networks’ data cable modem systems.

Allison served in the U.S. Navy from 1980 to 1989, where he was a fire control technician in the submarine force.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Roger Williams University.
