David Hanley

Vice President and Chief Executive, Raytheon MENA Group

David Hanley is Vice President and Chief Executive of Raytheon Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Group. As such, David is Raytheon Missiles and Defense’s (RMD’s) most senior leader in the MENA region. In this role, David is responsible for developing regional strategy, driving business growth in the individual MENA countries, and managing the regionally based functional capabilities that enable efficient and effective delivery of customer-orientated solutions. David is also responsible for managing the number of Raytheon Affiliates across the region.

Prior to this role, David was the Chief Operating Officer and then Chief Executive of Raytheon Saudi Arabia, a landed company of RMD based in Riyadh. In this role, David was responsible for developing the local company and its P&L, growing the existing business in Saudi Arabia, and delivering on customer programs for Ministry of Defense.

David worked for almost 15 years in leadership positions for Raytheon Australia and served for 15 years prior to that as an aeronautical engineer in the Royal Australian Navy.

David Hanley has extensive global defense experience having held leadership positions in international business, program management, business development and strategy.

He is a graduate of the University of New South Wales, Australia with Honors in Aerospace Engineering and earned a Master’s in Business Administration from La Trobe University, Australia.
