Chris Boynton is vice president of Finance and chief financial officer at Raytheon Missiles & Defense, a business of Raytheon Technologies. He oversees accounting, business process and systems, estimating and pricing, financial planning and analysis, operational finance and program controls for air and missile defense systems, precision weapons, radars, command and control systems and advanced defense technologies.
Most recently, he led Global Financial Services, Enterprise Services, for Raytheon Technologies, which aligns transactional activities across the enterprise, leveraging scale to automate and digitize, to provide world-class, cost-efficient solutions and controls. He also oversaw all financial operating activities for Enterprise Services, including the development and management of budgets and financial reporting.
Previously, he was vice president and CFO for Global Business Services at the former Raytheon Company prior to its merger with United Technologies in 2020 and was executive vice president of finance for L3 Technologies and spent more than 15 years at the former Raytheon Company, including roles in RMS, SAS and Corporate.
Boynton holds a master’s degree in finance from Suffolk University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of New Hampshire. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
