Vice President, Sustainment and Sensors, Raytheon Missiles & Defense

John P. Bergeron is vice president of Sustainment and Sensors for Raytheon Missiles & Defense, a business of Raytheon Technologies. His responsibilities include leading new product lines and serving customer needs for air and missile defense systems, precision weapons, radars, command and control systems and advanced defense technologies.

Bergeron, an electrical engineer, has nearly 15 years of aerospace and defense experience, including multiple leadership roles in quality assurance. Most recently, he served as vice president of mission assurance for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, prior to Raytheon Company’s merger with United Technologies Corporation in 2020.

Prior to that, he directed corporate mission assurance for Raytheon Company and also led Raytheon Six Sigma, a program to improve processes throughout the company. Before joining Raytheon, Bergeron held leadership positions in field service, engineering, quality and operations at General Electric.

He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the American Society for Quality. Bergeron holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Vermont.
